Instructions

“The holidays are all about keeping things easy, elegant, and delicious. With just a few simple steps, you’ll have a wonderful meal ready to enjoy!” -JH

Carrots & Shallots:

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spread the carrots and shallots onto a sheet pan, and warm them for 20 minutes until they’re tender and fragrant.

Braised Beef:

Transfer the beef and its sauce to a baking dish. Pour the extra sauce we tucked in for you right over the top — it keeps everything glossy and luxurious. Cover tightly with foil and warm at 350°F for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and broil on high for 5 minutes to caramelize the edges. It makes all the difference.

Mashed Potatoes:

  • Bain-Marie: Place the mashed potatoes in a glass or metal bowl above a pot of gently simmering water. Whisk until heated through and silky. You may add a splash of milk or cream for your desired consistency.
  • Stovetop: Transfer to a heavy-bottomed pot or Dutch oven and warm gently over low heat, stirring until smooth and creamy.

Salad:

Just before serving, place the greens in a large bowl and toss with as much vinaigrette as you love. It’s bright, fresh, and balances the richness of the meal beautifully.

Dinner Rolls:

To warm the rolls, wrap them in foil and bake for the last 5 minutes while reheating everything else. They’ll come out soft and perfect for sopping up that gravy.

Carrot Cake:

This dessert is ready to enjoy as is! How easy is that?

Wishing you a holiday filled with warmth, laughter, and the joy of gathering around a beautiful meal!

Love always, Jesse & Triet
